Audi has released this promotional video for the new R8 GT Spyder. The soft-top Spyder comes with a 5.2 liter FSI V10 power plant with an output of 412 kW (560 PS / 552 bhp) and 540 Nm (398.28 lb-ft) of torque. Curb weight is just 1640 kg (3616 lbs) – 85 kg less than on the R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI Quattro upon which it is based. The car does the 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) sprint in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 317 km/h (196.97 mph). The R8 GT Spyder will have a limited run of just 333 units. Prices in Germany start at €207800.
