Saab Resumes Car Production, 22 March 2010

The production line at Saab Automobiles state-of-the-art Trollhättan plant began rolling again today, heralding a new era for the Swedish premium car maker as an independent company. To mark the occasion, Saab Automobile CEO Jan Åke Jonsson, Spyker Cars CEO Victor Muller and Trollhättan Plant Director Gunnar Brunius took up positions on the line alongside assembly workers as the first batch of cars was built.

back in 2008 i got a brand new saab for $ 40k and after the company went bankrupt our local dealer shut their saab showrooms and maintenance centers and i got screwed and can’t get parts of my car and can’t find anyway to fix it. i sold it broken for $ 4.5k last year.
I will never never never never never … etc. come near to saab in the rest of my life even for free :(

a 9-3 was the first car I sat in behind the wheel. I fell in love with the car in a moment. and love persists :)

  15. DJFG85 says:

God bless Victor Mueller for saving Saab! I love my 08 9-3 and can’t wait to see Saab de-GMified!

  16. HandigeHarry010 says:

I think Saab is very lucky with the 9-5. It is part Opel Insignia, but most car testers think the Insignia is a good car.

So if you combine this with Saab design and Saab quality, the 9-5 will be a great car and make good sales.

    Good luck Saab,
